Musician King Saha has issued a stern warning to the Katwe DPC after he attempted to stop his performance during the Easter weekend.
On Easter Sunday, King Saha had a show at the Calendar Hotel in Makindye. As he was getting ready to sing his hit single ‘Akamwanyi’, the Katwe DPC quickly took the stage. He ordered the music to be turned off immediately. This put the show on hold amidst heavy booing from the revellers who wanted King Saha to go on.
King Saha’s reaction
Out of anger, King Saha, in an interview with BM Focus, warned the DPC never to bring chaos to his shows lest he face his wrath. He threatened to fight back the next time any security personnel tried to stop his performance without a valid reason.
“I do not have any problem with you but I do not know why you chose to come on stage during my performance. You chose being an Afande and I chose music. I may not be your friend but I’m not your enemy.
You did a despicable thing; I never wanted to clash with you personally but with time, we shall go to court. I promise to go head-on-head with the next afande that comes in between me and my job. Why would you bring chaos on someone’s show where people have paid money? Will you be able to calm down the chaos?” King Saha questioned.
