Musician Nina Roz has confirmed her political aspiration to contest for the position of Woman MP in Sembabule District.
The singer even printed posters, which are already spread out in Sembabule.
However, during her visit to the district last week, Nina Roz was blocked by police, who stopped her planned meeting with residents.
Musician Pallaso has since rallied support for the singer. During one of his Easter performances in Sembabule, Pallaso asked residents to support Nina Roz’s political bid.
“I don’t engage in politics, but I am doing so because of my friend and sister Nina Roz,” he said. “Support her, and you will not regret it; she is qualified and very capable of accomplishing the task.”
Nina Roz is planning to contest with the endorsement of the National Unity Platform.
